Title: Becoming a Fairy

Characters:

  • Fidela - Fairy
  • Creston -Fairy
  • Lily - Human 10

Setting:

    Lily is suprised to find two fairies in her room one day. They tell Lily that she is really supposed to be fairy and help her become one.

    Using the characters and setting write the story. Make sure you pay attention to what has already been written.

Subject: Intro

For years Fidela and Creston had been looking for the "one" using their magical finding stone, but had no luck. They had given up and were flying back to their home tree with their small fluttering wings.
"Wait! Fidela, the stone is flashing!" Creston exclaimed. They stopped and looked at the house they were in front of. The stone began to flash brighter.
"This is it. The one must be here," Fidela replied. Hope sparked in their eyes, for they knew that this being was the one chance at their people's survival.

Subject: The One

Fidela and Creston flew to the window as the stone flashed more and more. They looked inside to see a girl asleep in bed. She had red hair and green eyes. They knew how old she was because the prophesy of the One said that the stone would lead them to her once she was ten.
They found the window open and tried to push it open, but they were too small. Fidela tapped on the window. The One stayed asleep. Creston threw a rock at the window, but still, she stayed asleep. He tried a bigger rock and the window shattered. Ooops! The girl woke up and ran to the window and stared at the fairies in shock.
"What are you?" she asked.
"We're fairies. I'm Fidela and this is Creston. What's your name?" Fidela asked.
"Um... I'm Lily. I didn't think fairies were real."
"You better," Creston said. "Because you are going to become one!"
"What?!" Lily looked scared and confused.
"Don't worry, we'll be with you the whole way," Fidela assured her.
Suddenly Lily's mom burst into the room. Fidela and Creston crawled under her dresser. "What happened here?" her mom said in an annoyed mom tone.
"A bird! It flew into the window!" Lily said.
"Where's the bird?"Her mom asked.
"Um.. It flew away" Lily replied.
"I hope your being honest with me," she stormed out of the room.
Fidela and Creston came out from under the dresser.
"Sorry," Creston said.
"It's okay," Lily took a deep breath.
"Ready to learn how you become fairy?" Fidela asked.
Lily still looked really confused, "Sure..."

Lily followed the faries deep into the forst. Where coold they be taking her??? She followed them into a large tree. Creston pressed a not hole on the tree and suddenly the felll under the tree into a large open space. Faries were flutering everywhere. "This," said Fidela, "is were you will learn to be a fairy..."

Lily looked around, her grin growing wider. "Wow" she said quietly. "I feel like I've been here before....it's like one of my dreams!" she exclaimed. Creston and Fidela smiled and flew around her hand. Next to them Lily was huge.
"First" said Creston as he fluttered around her, "we have to make you our size"
Fidela twirled around Lily from her head to her toes and just like that Lily shrunk down to a fairies size.

Lily was the same size as all the faries around her, but had no wings. Fidela sprinkled some dust on Lily's back and two wings grew. Now Lily was a fairy like every one else.

Lily twirled in excitement, a grin growing wide on her face.
"This is unbelievable" she whispered.
Creston and Fidela both smiled at Lily. They each took a step towards her and stood by her side. Creston grabbed a hold of Lilys hand and awaited for Fidela to do the same.
"Ready to fly?" asked Fidela.
Lily threw her chin up in the air and watched as all the fairies around them began to gather for the arrival of the new fairy. She gulped before responding but despite her nervousness Lily bravely responded "Yes."

Lily felt all eyes upon her. Everyone was watching.
THe youg girl took a deep breath. It was time to prove herself.
Fidela smiled at Lily, coaxing her.
Creston gently lifted her hand.
With a rush, Lily knew exactly what to do.
She leaped into the air, her crimson hair rippling behind her. Lily felt her wings snap open, and suddenly she was weightless. She twisted, turned, flipped, and dived, all with the grace of one airborn.
When her feet touched the ground, Lily was grinning from ear to ear.
She felt like a fairy in full now.
Fidela squeeked with joy.
"Yes! You did it!"
"You're a natural," Creston said.
"Good job, Lily."
The three fairies turned to see a taller, angel winged fairy. Fidela and Creston bowed low, each grabbing hold of Lily's hand and pulling her down with them.
"Lady Candlemere, we are honored," Fidela said.

Subject: Lady candlemere

Lady Candlemere stared down at the fairies. She had sent Fidela and Creston on countless missions to find Lily before the prophecy indicated but fate had always stopped them in their tracks. Now Lily was finally where she belonged and it was almost too late! "You will begin magic training immediately!" she said and then flew away gracefully. Lily looked around at her surroundings in amazement. Everything was so beautiful! All of the other fairies were already busy magic training. "so where do I begin?" she asked. "Right here." said Creston. "Kaleb is going to teach you how to focus you magic talents." "who's Kaleb?" I asked, baffled that I even had magic talents. "I'm Kaleb!" said a soft voice from behind her. I turned around to see the most handsome boy fairy I had EVER seen! I was so shock that I dropped several inches from where I was hovering. "and I'm-I'm...l-l-" "yes Lily I kow!" he said grinning " so lets get started!"
